He is the typical Eagle, fighting, fast, charging, skillful, and clean. On the defense. he was the most sen- sational lineman in the State: he charged hrough and made beautiful tackles on either ide of the line. To crown his achievements. I s Donald was unanimously chosen by fourteen writers as all-State tackle. PERRY BARBER Perry was heavy and fast-charging. the ideal ype for a guard. Throughout the whole sea- son the Eagles were able to make heavy gains over Pe-rry's right guard position. He was a l h Eagles. I wo-year veteran from Winters and will play is fourth year of football next year with the TRUETT Truett followed in er Perry as a guard up for this by his ability. When Bi Little Barber was could. certainly earned his letter. He played tackle for the first time this year and made a suc- cess. l..ynn's heads-up type of football brought him a touchdown on an intercepted pass. The Eagles next year will feel the loss of Faires. HALE KINCAID-HALF Hale's first year with the Eagles was a very successful one. Kincaid is connected with Smith in running the interference which was responsible for the Eagles' powerful attack. His lack of weight was more than balanced by his speed. his ability to knock down passes. and his sure tackling in the open field. Hale will be with the 1928 Eagles. BARBER-GUARD the footsteps of his broth- . He was light, but made fighting spirit and real g Barber was through, always ready to take the position and play it nearly as well as Perry D-Rx., fe P.
