Brazos: Goin' Strong Brazos made three appearances on the ACU campus in the fall, including one unscheduled performance. Mem- bers ot the group are Chris l-larris, Mark McCord, Steve Gallavvay and Jeff Huckabee. Specializing in progressive country music, they have entertained at ACU for two years and also per- formed in Nashville, Tennessee for tvvo summers. The group provided enter- tainment at the Dave Loggins concert when he was delayed. Brazos has been mentioned in Billboard magazine along vvith the Eagles, Charlie Daniel's band and Pure Prairie League. Chris l-larris Cupper left, oppositiej doubles as a vocalist and bass guitar- ist forthe group. Steve Callaway C upper right, oppositej is one of the original members of Bra- zos andthe band's banjo player. One flower, oppositej of the highlights of the Galaxy ski trip was Mark Harris' performance with Brazos. Musical ability Ileftj and song Writing talent is the trademark of Mark McCord. BRAZOS

Loggins Draws Coliseum Crowd Dave Loggins, well-known pro- gressive country singer from Nashville, Tennessee, performed in Moody Coll- seum for a crowd of approximately 1900. The November concert was the first popular music entertainment sponsored by the Student Association in over a year. Loggins, due to unfortu- nate scheduling problems, was delayed over two hours for his per- formance. Loggins' hit single, Please Come to Boston, was the highlight of the evening. N U Q.
