Decorating for the dance included much give and take. Homecoming Was Fun For All A. H. S. spirit was at its fullest for Homecoming ‘67. Activities began early in the week when each class and club began making floats for the parade. Thursday night was host to a Student Council-sponsored snake dance and bonfire. The snake dance began the night's activities, taking the cheering students through the streets and establishments of town. The dance ended at the football field where each class lit their woodpile. The classes had raced against each other in a contest to make the biggest pile. It ended in a draw between the Seniors and Juniors. Pep talks by the team captains, coaches, and cheerleaders brought the evening to an end with the most Homecoming spirit Aberdeen has ever shown. A. H. S. classes worked hard to place in the float competition. 9
