They were Art Phillips, Edgar Toevs, Joe Martinez, and Lee Worth. The Tigers won two and lost three in conference play. The 1952-53 State Class B Championship rests in the hands of the Aberdeen Tigers, who ended their basketball season with a record of 29 wins and 2 losses. This is one of the best seasons the Tigers have had. They succeeded in winning the District, Regional and State Titles. This is the first time they have ever won the State Championship. They have participated in many out- standing events. They have sung on an average of once every month throughout the year. Of the many engagements the choir has had, probably the outstanding one was sing- ing for the opening program celebrating Music Week in Pocatello. They also sang over KSEI. This year they purchased a trampoline for the school. It's an ideal thing to play on if you like broken bones.
