This year, we can see ourselves one step closer to success since this group with jim Bennington at their head have awarded the hanner to each hest kept XVAGON fclassroonij and attendance hanners to those with the BEST attendance. This INDUSTRIOUS group have tried to keep order in the CAMP hy organizing a Monitor system. At the end of Left to Right-Glascock. Bennington, Taylor, Brown. We can very well say these are our successful GOLD DIGC-ERS of Aherdeen High. YVhy, haven't you seen these husy heavers DIGGING for those A's annd B's as well as a high character, a scholastic and leadership rating which is decided hy the leaders Ifacultyj. These DIGGERS are to hold an Essay contest in February. They are hop- ing to he more active and of more value to their group this year, so they are hoping to he successful in this attempt. this year this group will go to the State Council to pool ideas. It was organ- ilcd under the watchful eye of Mr. Clutkla and six members of the senior high school. One of their main liXl'I-1C'I'.-XTIONS was to familiarize themseltes with the operations and types of cameras. Now, to quote their slogan, "To take a pie' tttre is an accomplislunent, httt to take a good pictttre is a greater aticomplishment". The club was delayed in the process of organization httt ottr young BLAZING photographers have many plans for the EXPANSION of membership. We are sure these DIGGERS will somehow STRIKE success in the near future. Yott missed a GOLDEN opportunity if you missed "Crandpa's 'I'wiu Sister", a play sponsored by the club, which was presented on November 19. l948.
