The Communications Class edits and
publishes the school newspaper "Buff Pride".
Mrs. Lance, the sponsor, and eighteen stu-
dents who participated in this class pub-
lished it once a month. You will all agree
it was a top-rated newspaper as they sup-
plied us with current news of "what 's what"
around the school.

Webster's Dictionary defined the word "band" as a company of play-
ers on musical instruments. AHJH Band members fit this definition. This
year the bands numbered 275 players. They performed at football games,
marched in parades, and presented concerts. The bands were divided into
the following groups, Gold, Blue, Cadets and Stage. Mr. David Smardo
was the conductor. The bands really did an outstanding job.
