The squad numbered forty-seven boys when practice started in the fall . The boys were all eager pupils and tried hard to learn their plays in time for our first game with Larsen. We lost that game in the closing seconds ofthe first half when Larsen scored their sole touchdown. The boys then hittheir stride and rolled over Ellis in their next two games. The final game of the season was a sound defeat when we bowed to Larsen 25-O.
