This is a familiar sign at Abbot. The school
belongs to a world organization entitled the
World University Service, which helps to
build centers of academic research and fur-
nish them with necessary supplies. The girls
at Abbot are able to aid the less fortunate
people of the world through this organiza-
FRIDAY NIGHT ACTIVITIES
After supper on Friday evenings we have the opportunity to
cultivate our hobbies and special interests. They range from
dressing dolls for the Hindman Settlement to photography, as-
tronomy, French, German, and discussion of current events in
Forum. These common bonds of interest help us to further our
friendships with teachers and classmates.
