And after 'ring ceremony' and Bliss Hear-
sey's wise talk
We with our class rings on pink clouds did
walk.
Before the curtain rose, marching up the
aisle
The Senior-llids came singing "Onward!"
with a big smile.
W'ith "servants" and "Fanny,' and each one
concerned
The flame of success through Davis Hall
burned.
The A.C.A. gave their Yuletide service.
The girls looked nice,but were oh,so nervous.
Lee told a story, ,neath the candlelight glow,
And outside, our Circle was spread with new
snow.
Our last week sped by, filled with anticipa-
tion:
Each day brought us closer to Christmas
vacation!
Our last yummy dinner came to a song-filled
ending
And so to McKeen rooms our way we were
wending
To sing Yuletide carols of the season's good
cheer

And wind up shouting "Happy New Yearl'
We awoke in the morn to the clear carol-
singing
Of choir girls, by candlelight, Christmas joy
bringing.
We hastened to leave still rubbing our eyes
For dawn's-early trains at five we did rise.
Bags and trunks clogging up the front hall
We called "Adios" and "Greetings, you all l'

J AYUARY
From merry Christmases and grand celebra-
tion,
We returned to school ready for another
vacation!
Patty and lllle. Baratte with bad colds and
fever
Were late to return, as were Sonny and Eva.
We quickly got back into the old swing
Hearing the breakfast and lights-out bell
ring!
Sculptor Silvereruys talked, not turning this
or that way
