At first it did not seem possible that we could ever get the dummy set up, but soon the Circle began to take shape. . .meetings were held with Mr. Cole and Mrs. Reeves. Typical phrases heard were: " Are all the sayings done? " " Let ' s be different, let ' s not have write-ups! " ' ' Deadline, Monday, Murder Line Tuesday. Abbot has again un- dertaken service to the world, under the new name of World Unity Service Groups - - with the realization that the struggle for peace has just begun, and that we must play our small but necessary part in a changing world — work- ing to maintain peace. The Art and Orchestra Groups were organized to make money, the proceeds of which have gone to charity organizations. The Art Group ' s work was used for the annual Abbot Bazaar. The Knitting and Sewing Groups made much-needed clothing for people in devastated countries abroad, which these people would not have had otherwise. The Forum and Student Feder- alists met to discuss the important problems and current events of the world.
