The Abbot Circle 938 LI mtLoitant cLvznti of 1937 - ig3S SEPTEMBER 28 — Last year at Abbot begins. Started finely — many new girls. Three new faculty members, Miss Rath, Miss Marston, Mr. Merritt. OCTOBER 15 — Senior picnic at Haggett ' s pond — doing better than class of ' 37. Weather perfect. 23 — Memorial service to Miss Chickering. 15- NOVEMBER -Field day — hockey game especially to be remembered. Thanksgiving service and holiday. DECEMBER 10 — A.D.S. plays. 1 1 — Children ' s Christmas party, exhaust- ing as usual. 12 — Our last Christmas service. 17 — Home for Christmas vacation. JANUARY 7 — Vacation ended — back for work and winter sports. FEBRUARY 1 — Mid-years began — we can smile now that they are far behind. 4 — Intervale at last ! 19 — Senior-mid plays — guess we are leav- ing Mrs. Gray with good material. MARCH 5 — ■ Senior-mid and Senior tea dance. 11 — Griffin entertainment — gave illusion of a very un-prep-school environment. 19 — Little Women, our senior play of which we are justly proud. APRIL 7- - Back from spring vacation. 17- - Easter evening service. 23- — Joint concert and dance between Fi- delio and Gov. Dummer Glee Club. 29- - Prom week-end — no comments neces- sary. MAY 7- — Visitors ' day — worth everyone ' s ef- forts. 12- 21- 28- - Society Banquet. -Benefit Bazaar — $200 profit! - Field Day. Senior Banquet.
