Once again, Father Luke Hallenbeck has produced top-ranking students in the science department. In recognition of the great achievements year after year of Father Lukeis students in biology, the National Association of Biology Teachers has chosen him as the Out- standing Biology Teacher of Colo-rado for 1964 and also the Outstanding Biology Teacher of Region VIII. There are nine such outstanding regional teachers in the United States. In addition, Father Luke has been nominated Regional Director of the N.A.B.T. for 1965-66. The Milheim Foundation for Cancer Research has presented him with a grant of 33,627.00 so that he can continue his research on leukemia during the summer of 1964.
