To Ann Fesperman, I leave the good times that we had in seventh period study hall. To Gordon Campbell, who is a rising freshman, I leave all my senior privilegesfij. I, Donald Upright, do hereby will and bequeath my ability to finish high school in four years to anyone who wishes to try it and my desire to finish school, to my sister, a rising sophomore. I, Lewis Vernon, do hereby will and bequeath my ability to drive to Jimmy Strickland. I, Nancy Viola, do hereby will and bequeath to my brother, George, a rising junior, my childish ideas, hoping to take my dignity with me. I leave my love to Miss Ward and Mrs. Martin. I, Virginia Waggoner, do hereby will and bequeath all my good times at Cannon High to Dot Rollins and Dale Aderholdt. To Nancy Payne, I leave my ability to finish school before getting married. I, Bobby Walker, having no mind and very little body, do hereby will and bequeath my everything, which is nothing, to anyone, who is a nobody, to do with as they think proper since there is really nothing there to do with. To "Patsy" Whitley I leave my love for Concord and boys named "Ted," hoping that she will have as much fun as I had. if I, Eva Mae Williams, do hereby will and bequeath my ability to get to school in five minutes to Phyllis Hayes and June Medlin, seeing they are late often. I, Benjamin Franklin Wright, do Rreby leave my best wishes to the Senior Class of 1953, hoping they will prosper in the future. I, Marthelaine Williams, being of sound mind and sounder body, do hereby will my nicknames, "Priss," "Wad," and "Chunkey," to everyone who has labeled me thusly, knowing how they will suffer, and my majorette position to Pat Coffey, class of '61, hoping she can survive the chill bumps and hilarious band trips. I, Geraldine Woodell, do hereby will and bequeath to my cousin, jo Ann Daniels, a rising freshman, my good times, and to "Phyl" Canup my imaginary car, knowing how well she hates to walk.
