To Phil Tesh, I will my ability to stay out of trouble on band trips, knowing he has not yet acquired this skill. I, Gary Deal, being sound of mind and body, do hereby will and bequeath to Howard jones my ability to finish high school in four years, knowing he will probably need twice as many. I, Thelma Deal, do hereby will and bequeath my good times and my ability not to have detention hall to my cousin, Joan Sloop, a rising junior. I, Joyce Dendy, do hereby will and bequeath my ability to pass shorthand to Helen Little, and to Vonne Gwaltney and Mary Lee Russell, I will my good times at Cannon High. I, Ina Ruth Dennis, do hereby will and bequeath all my kleenex to Lucille Munday, so that she may use them in art, and to Margaret Hix, I just leave. I, Janice Earle Dennis, do hereby will and bequeath to Shirley Watts my monitor post, knowing how much she wants itp and to Hugh Freeze, I leave my ability to study, knowing how much he likes it! I, Troy Doby, being of sound mindC?D and body, do hereby will and bequeath my center position to Bill, The "Whooper," Strawn, and to my sister, Pat, my good times at K.H.S. I, Iris jean Dudley, do hereby will and bequeath my desire for my senior year to have been in A. L. Brown High School to my sister, a rising junior, knowing that she had better get there, and my geometry book-I just leave! I, Theresa Dwyer, do hereby will and bequeath my love for turned-upfollars, white shoes and Arizona blue jeans, to Billie Childers, a rising freshman. To Carol Ferguson and Sandra Gordon, I leave the new high school. I, Ruth Eanes, being of sound mind and body, do hereby will and bequeath my love for French and Mrs. Roberts to anyone fortunate enough to have it. I, janet Edwards, do hereby will and bequeath my ability to drive a car to school everyday to my sister, Phyllis, hoping she won't have to drive it off the side- walk everyday before she can go home. I, Ruby Edwards, being of sound mind and body, do hereby will and bequeath all my "good ole days" at Cannon High to the little Edwards, Clara and Bar- bara, attending Aycock Elementary School. I, Charles Efird, do hereby will and bequeath my beloved nickname to anyone as unfortunate as I was to get it. I also leave number "77" to any lucky person and my many good times at Cannon High to Mikie Koonts and Sidney Solomon. I, Theresa Ensley, do hereby will my love for Mrs. Martin to Phil Riggs Upright. To "Dot" Wiles, I will my love to skate in Charlotte, knowing she has an interest there also. I, Shirley Ervin, do hereby will and bequeath my ability to graduate in four years to my brother, Ronald, who is a rising freshman, and I hope he loves school as much as I did. I, Creston CBrainD Erwin, do hereby will and be- queath to Donald Mason, my ability to make A's without working too hard, and to Carol CChubbyj Fer- guson, I take back the "Chubby" and just leave. I, Joyce Falls, being of sound mindC?D do hereby will and bequeath my chair at Lewis' to Norma Rainy and all my fun and good times at K.H.S. to the Little llDYs.,, I, Betty Fleming, do hereby will and bequeath all my good times through high school and my ability to stay out of detention hall to my brother, Darrell, a rising freshman. He certainly will need it. I, Eleanor Foil, do hereby will and bequeath my position as library assistant to my sisters, Gerry, a rising senior, and Patsy, a rising sophomore. To Gene, I leave my fourth period lunch, which I had for three years straight. I, Peggy Freeze, do hereby will and bequeath my nickname "Fat" to anyone who has earned it, besides Linny Baker, and my love for good times to Shirley Watts and Joyce Nunn.
