He's a new star of basketball, boy, he really surprised us all. Armand DeBlasio: Honor society, Chess and Checker club, DAR American history contest, Science club librarian, Student Federalists. Armand is a camera fiend, for he with it is always seen. Lois Dettman: Diana Y-Teens. .lust 'cause she attends high school is no sign that she's a fool. Harold Eaton Dexter: Assembly committee, choir, madrigal, quartet. Here's Harold Dexter, the Colden V Diced Boyf' to hear him sing is one great joy. Nadene Dick: Dawn Y-Teens, debate, office practice. Sheis a literary slave, does she write poems for Burma Shave? james Donald Dobie: ASB council, cheer leader. I beg you kids, don't go so fastg I'll have to go to English class. Don Doescher: Home room representative, Pep club, Photo club president, Pirate Hi Y. The big attraction is that pret- ty black hair, let's hope he'll never come out up there. Leland Dolquist: Baseball, football A team, Gold Y, Yakima Hi Y. Whether pitching balls or catching passes, he gets sweet looks from all the lasses. Betty Dorrian: Honor society, apple essay contest second place, ASB council, Dawn Y-Teens, lost and found, Pep club, Photo club, Wigwam editor. This girl's so bright it's really funny, in fact we'll have to call her sunny. Bill Doyle: Basketball mgr., business mgr. First Lady, class sergeant at arms, DAR American history contest, foot- ball A team, Cold Y, home room representative, Honor society, jr.-sr. reception, Ski club, ticket sales. Bill will go far in future years, because he conquers all his fears. Fred Eglin: A meek kind of guy is little Freddy. To rescue fair damsels he's always ready. Bill Eims: Philadelphia Storyf' stage crew. He's the shy and silent kind, to the wiles of women he is blind. Leota Eknes: Choir librarian, home room representative. She used to go with a guy named Alan, thus his little car used many a gallon. Mary Joanne Ellis: Mary gets our biggest wish, 'cause she is such a lovely dish. Jim Emer on: Cross country, track. To be in track he must be fast, we bet he'll never come in last. Colleen Emmons: Honor society, band, choir librarian, home room representative. Ah yes, she sings a gentle note, for girl of the year she gets our vote. Betty Erickson: Photo club, ushers. She's a girl who is so nice, she'll soon be walking through the rice. Gerald Erickson: Some folks call him Mortimer Snerd, at least it's the most fitting name we've heard. Glenna Ernst: After school sports, Diana Y-Teens, Photo club, Ski club. We'll wager one thing on her future life, she'll make her husband a wonderful wife. Lizabeth Eschbach: After school sports, Art club president, ASB secretary, assembly committee, Diana Y-Teens cabi- net, First Lady, Girls League cabinet, home room representative, jr.-sr. reception, Pep club, Pirate Lassies, Radio Res- cue, Ski club. Secretary of the Pirate ship, she never makes a single slip. Flo d Faringer, Jr.: Stage, track. Youfll find him backstage on class play nights, raising curtains, and dimming lights. Y Royce Farren: K. C. sergeant at arms, stage crew. See all the fellas in his little lizzy, his driving makes them rather dizzy. Dorothy Fedderly: Costume committee, Dawn Y-Teens, home room representative, Pep club, Ski club, ushers, Wig- wam girls' sports editor. Dot's resolve is always bendin'. It it going to be spinsterhood or Clendon? Marilyn Ferguson: Choir, Diana Y-Teens, home room representative, jr.-sr. reception, Pep club. To make her happy just mention Jim. The poor girl' s really in love with him. Jeanette L. Fetzer: Ushers. Jeanette's lots different from her twin. One can guess where they have been. June L. Fetzer: Office practice, ushers. Ditto to what we have said above. I t honestly fits them like a glove. Eugene Fisher: Sales club. He is one who's a super seller, could sell an attic to a cellar. Harold Fisher: Radio club. Here's a boy who's lean and lank, but one can't say his mind's a blank. Bud Fisk: Gold Y, intramural basketball, track. Bud's another man of track, in fast speed he doesn't lack. 78 '

A personality girl is Ruth, alwaQ, always tells the truth. - George Flynn: DAR American history contest, Radio club. This quiet lad with stature small, brings out the mother in us all. Barbara Folsom: Honor society, Dawn Y-Teens, jr.-sr. reception, Pep club, Photo club. That old, old adage 'bout boys and passes doesn't apply to this girl with glasses. Charlotte Folsom: Photo club. She is Barbara's little cousin, as busy as a bee that's buzzin'. Margaret Forrest: After school sports, Art club, choir, Dawn Y-Teens, Gold Key award in the Scholastic Art Contest in Seattle, Pirate Lassies, ushers. Margarefs a Forrest and not a woods. ln art and such, she's got the goods. Bob Fosburgh: FFA, Photo club, Ski club. He is bashful and on the loose, so get him, girls, heis a golden goose. Joyce Francis: Choir. These people who have two first names, must think we've time for playing games. Janice Friedline: After school sports, choir, Dawn Y-Teens, Pirate Lassies, ushers. By various ways, as you have found, she lets you krww she is around. Ray Fuller: Baseball, football A team, Gold Y, class sergeant at arms. Here's a boy who's right on top, wouldn't you like to call him pop! Edward Fund: FFA, stage. As he leaves these portals dear, I think we'll cry alittle tear. Rosemary Cause: Cafeteria, Home Economics club, Library club. Disposition A-1, good girl, swell fun. Steve Gerhardt: Honor society, band, choir, free text, Photo club, tennis. Steve is always down in free text, wonder who'll take over next? Barbara Graham: Choir, Diana Y-Teens, It Happened on January Sixteenth. She's a fan of good old boogie. Boy, this gal can really boogie-woogie. Jim Graham: Basketball. cross country, Gold Y, track, Yakima Hi Y. .lim takes after his brother lack. In handsome looks he doesn't lack. Joanne Graham: Photo club. ,loanne's one with lots to say, makes the most of one whole day. Anne Greene:Choir, Diana Y-Teens, jr.-sr. reception, office practice, Photo club, senior Sextet, Ski club. She's al- ways flitting around the room. Either she's gay or in a gloom. Grace Greer: Library club, Photo club. Grace is both stable and quiet, also has Stan for a steady diet. Rossy Griffith: Diana Y-Teens, jr.-sr. reception, office, Photo club, Ski club. Her real name is her pet peeve, gives her lots of cause to grieve. Pat Griswold: Girls' athletic representative, Ski club, stage. Pat is one who dresses neat. She's a girl we'd like to meet. Robert Groenig: From motor bike to pick-up truck, it seems this kid has all the luck. Kenneth Groth: He used to do the dirty work backstage for plays and M. J. Birk. Loretta Eve Haden: DAR American history contest, Dawn Y-Teens cabinet and delegate to Grinnell, lowag home room representative, Honor society, Pep club, Student Federalists, ticket sales committee for Philadelphia Story, ush- ers, Lolomi co-editor. Loretta and Sara are two little gals who are the very best of pals. Sara Mae Hafsos: Costume committee, Dawn Y-Teens, Honor society. Lolomi editorial, Pep club, Student Federalists, ticket sales for Philadelphia Story, Wigwam news editor. If with one you'd like to rate, get a friend, they double date. Richard F. Hahn: Choir, assembly committee, home room representative, jr.-sr. reception, Philadelphia Story, Ski club, swim team, Yakima Hi Y. With cars and looks and red hair too, the girls could really go for you. Marion Haines: Band, Art club, Photo cluh. W e see her in the role of usher, careful, boys, don't try to rush 'er. J. Orlo Hall: Are Vance and Orlo really brothers? Is a question much asked of all the others. Vance Hall: Baseball, football, Gold Y, Yakima Hi Y. This kid gave Donna lots of worry, in fact he had her in a flurry. Stanley Hallgarth: Boys League vice-president, madrigal, choir, quartet, football, baseball, Pep club, Ski club. Many like to watch him dance. It seems he rather likes to prance. Karlene Hartley: Ushers. Here's a girl who's a tall red-head, with temper to match, she's in the red. Betty Hathaway: Library club, home room representative, Photo club. She got Bill by her cooking wiles, does she bake cakes equipped with files? 80
