SENIORS Natalina Carbone: Assembly committee, choir, Dear Ruth, Ski club, Tri Y. No words describe our Natalina, she ought to play a concertina. George Carlile: Choir, free text, K. C. lieutenant-captain, Pirate Hi Y president and chaplain. Head of Hi Y, Pirate chapter, he's always full of fun and laughter. . Laurcl Carnes: Dawn Y-Teens, drill team, Girls' Sports club, Photo club, Pirate Lassies secretary, ushers. Laurel's well known, need we say more? At least she'll never be a bore. Aldonna Carpenter: The first big cause of female woes was just Aldvnna from old St. Joes. Dwayne Cason: Basketball A squad, Cold Y. As he goes dribbling down the floor, we know he's certain to raise the score. Betty Catlin: Assembly committee, Dawn Y-Teens, Girls' Sports club, head usher, home room representative, jr.-sr. re- ception, office practice, Photo club, Pirate Lassies, Student Federalists. She wants to be a social worker. When doing things, she is no shirker. Wayne Cecil: Honor society, Photo club president, Pirate Hi Y chaplain. Most girls like his Hollywood, on him a crew cut would not be good. Peg Champie: Office practice, Tri Y, Pep club. Peg's always giving sound advice to those whoire willing to pay the price. Robert Hill Chaney: Baseball, basketball, Pep club, Yakima Hi Y. Of Bob some folks do not approve, at least he's al- ways in the groove. Lawrence Christianson: Here's another carrot top, who's really always on the top. Louise Christman: Photo club, Sales club, Science club secretary. One will find her in our hall of eats, standing on her own two feets. Stephen Clark: Honor society. Stephenls a lad whois very smart. He's been the throb of many a heart. Stewart Clark: He is a suave and polished guy, that is if pictures do not lie. Bill Clayton: Choir, FFA judging team. In FFA he is a judge, he is not the one to fudge. Loyd Clement: FFA. Someday Loyd will own a farm. Chickens, cows and pigs he'll charm. Virginia Cochran: Art club, home room representative, Dawn Y-Teens. Here's a miss who is petite. She has two tiny little feet. Harold Combs: Stage. Harold rides ,round in a Model A, but hopes to own a Buick some day. Nora Conway: Science club reporter. Sheis scientific but not crazy. She has a brain that is not hazy. Lewis Cooper: ASB council, cross country, Gold Y, Honor society, track. When he gets bit, he gets bit bad, now don'l you think our story's sad? Caroline V. Copeland: After school sports, apple essay honorable mention, Diana Y-Teens, orchestra, Photo club. This miss must have a stable mind, 'cause sheis not one whois left behind. Carol Costello: After school sports, Diana Y-Teens, jr.-sr. reception, Pep club vice-president, Wigwam business staff. Some of us like to hear her laugh, she's always shoveling out the chaff. Norma Lee Cox: Her name you know is not quite normal, yet not too stiff and not too formal. Glenn Crawford: It seems we made a slight mistake, we thought a senior he should make. Sterling Cross: Band, boys' glee, choir. His name one sees on jewelry fine, he'd like to own a diamond mine. Dick Crow: Band, Boys League representative, dance band, pep band, Pirate Hi Y secretary, l1L sergeant at'arms. Gee, this Dick is a cute little lad, but he's always making some girl mad. Daniel E. Crowder: Science club vice-president. You can't always tell a book by its cover, maybe someday, he'll be a great lover. Janice Lucil Cullen: Debate, Photo club, Student F ederalists. She's true to her friends and class as well. We think that she is really swell. Barbara Cushing: After school sports, band, majorette, pep band, Photo club. This girl continues to amaze us all, for how can a senior be so small P Harriet Cushing: Art club president, bulletin hoard committee, Diana Y-Teens, madrigal, Naughty Marietta, Photo club, Science club president, sextet, swim team, lst place Washington State art contest. He's a new star of basketball, boy, he really surprised us all. Armand DeBlasio: Honor society, Chess and Checker club, DAR American history contest, Science club librarian, Student Federalists. Armand is a camera fiend, for he with it is always seen. Lois Dettman: Diana Y-Teens. .lust 'cause she attends high school is no sign that she's a fool. Harold Eaton Dexter: Assembly committee, choir, madrigal, quartet. Here's Harold Dexter, the Colden V Diced Boyf' to hear him sing is one great joy. Nadene Dick: Dawn Y-Teens, debate, office practice. Sheis a literary slave, does she write poems for Burma Shave? james Donald Dobie: ASB council, cheer leader. I beg you kids, don't go so fastg I'll have to go to English class. Don Doescher: Home room representative, Pep club, Photo club president, Pirate Hi Y. The big attraction is that pret- ty black hair, let's hope he'll never come out up there. Leland Dolquist: Baseball, football A team, Gold Y, Yakima Hi Y. Whether pitching balls or catching passes, he gets sweet looks from all the lasses. Betty Dorrian: Honor society, apple essay contest second place, ASB council, Dawn Y-Teens, lost and found, Pep club, Photo club, Wigwam editor. This girl's so bright it's really funny, in fact we'll have to call her sunny. Bill Doyle: Basketball mgr., business mgr. First Lady, class sergeant at arms, DAR American history contest, foot- ball A team, Cold Y, home room representative, Honor society, jr.-sr. reception, Ski club, ticket sales. Bill will go far in future years, because he conquers all his fears. Fred Eglin: A meek kind of guy is little Freddy. To rescue fair damsels he's always ready. Bill Eims: Philadelphia Storyf' stage crew. He's the shy and silent kind, to the wiles of women he is blind. Leota Eknes: Choir librarian, home room representative. She used to go with a guy named Alan, thus his little car used many a gallon. Mary Joanne Ellis: Mary gets our biggest wish, 'cause she is such a lovely dish. Jim Emer on: Cross country, track. To be in track he must be fast, we bet he'll never come in last. Colleen Emmons: Honor society, band, choir librarian, home room representative. Ah yes, she sings a gentle note, for girl of the year she gets our vote. Betty Erickson: Photo club, ushers. She's a girl who is so nice, she'll soon be walking through the rice. Gerald Erickson: Some folks call him Mortimer Snerd, at least it's the most fitting name we've heard. Glenna Ernst: After school sports, Diana Y-Teens, Photo club, Ski club. We'll wager one thing on her future life, she'll make her husband a wonderful wife. Lizabeth Eschbach: After school sports, Art club president, ASB secretary, assembly committee, Diana Y-Teens cabi- net, First Lady, Girls League cabinet, home room representative, jr.-sr. reception, Pep club, Pirate Lassies, Radio Res- cue, Ski club. Secretary of the Pirate ship, she never makes a single slip. Flo d Faringer, Jr.: Stage, track. Youfll find him backstage on class play nights, raising curtains, and dimming lights. Y Royce Farren: K. C. sergeant at arms, stage crew. See all the fellas in his little lizzy, his driving makes them rather dizzy. Dorothy Fedderly: Costume committee, Dawn Y-Teens, home room representative, Pep club, Ski club, ushers, Wig- wam girls' sports editor. Dot's resolve is always bendin'. It it going to be spinsterhood or Clendon? Marilyn Ferguson: Choir, Diana Y-Teens, home room representative, jr.-sr. reception, Pep club. To make her happy just mention Jim. The poor girl' s really in love with him. Jeanette L. Fetzer: Ushers. Jeanette's lots different from her twin. One can guess where they have been. June L. Fetzer: Office practice, ushers. Ditto to what we have said above. I t honestly fits them like a glove. Eugene Fisher: Sales club. He is one who's a super seller, could sell an attic to a cellar. Harold Fisher: Radio club. Here's a boy who's lean and lank, but one can't say his mind's a blank. Bud Fisk: Gold Y, intramural basketball, track. Bud's another man of track, in fast speed he doesn't lack. 78 '
