6 Art Club Provides Service To School The Art Club is new at Woodlawn this year. Serv- ing as sponsors are Mrs. Johnnie Jordan and Mr. Charles Lovelace. The purpose of this organization is to provide serviee to the school and promote self-im- provcment. Projects for the year included making miniature paintings, sponsoring a bake sale, and deeoupaging pictures to sell. Other projects ol' service were the making ol' a backdrop for the 1970 Homecoming Dance and an entry in the Captain Shreve game homeroom poster eontest. The Art Club won first place. At the end ofthe year a banquet was held. A cer- tificate ol' service was awarded the most outstanding student.
