Panhellenic Council Tech's Panhellenic Association is com- posed of all members of Delta Zeta Sorority and Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority. The govern- ing body of the Association is the Panhel- lenic Council made up of two representatives from each sorority. The council's main functions are to maintain good intersorority relations and to sponsor and regulate rush. This year, among other activities, the Panhellenic Council has also sponsored the Panhellenic Formal, co-sponsored the Freshman Tea with the A.W.S., and has begun several awards for Association members.

The purpose of the council is to promote sound inter-fraternity relations, to represent all members of Greek letter or- ganizations, to create harmony with other campus organizations, to project a good Creek image in the community, and to de- velop a strong relationship between the fra- ternities and the administration at West Vir- ginia Tech. The membership of the l.F.C. is composed Michael Rosenthal, Thacker Williams, Sam Kocher, Row 3: David Chevalier, Cary Childers, james Howell, Sec., Thomas Salo, john Harris. ity Council of four members each from Pi Kappa Phi, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Sigma Pi, and Rho Epsilon Beta. Officers are elected from the member- ship. The l.F.C. and Panhellenic Council annually sponsor the Greek Weekend. The weekend consists of Greek games, a Greek dance, open house at the fraternity houses and a closing banquet. The fraternities at West Virginia Tech individually sponsor many social activi- ties throughout the school year.

Of significance to the increasing fraternal success are several other factors. This year, the chapter was awarded by Pi Kappa Phi National Office the Master An event unique in itself is the Oil Drum Regatta. The event held every spring, attracts entries from many Tech students and organizations as well as from other colleges throughout West Virginia and surrounding states. This event provides all Tech stu- dents with an opportunity for festive merrymaking. Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity House is always open and we invite you to drop by when time permits.
