The Get-Acquainted Picnic introduced sophomores to the junior and senior Lariattes, Carol, Ruth, Phyllis, and Pat created an orchid throne for the girls' choice dance. Lariattes ended the year with the Mother-Honor Tea in the Social Room of West High.
