A.F.S. Tag Days are held in the spring and fall to help support our A.F.S. students. With its meetings and activities, the A.F.S. Club makes pos¬ sible many wonderful experiences with students from many parts of the world. NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY This year the Wellesley High School chapter of the National Honor Society held its induction cere- money on December 14. Its 20 juniors and 60 seniors are elected on the basis of scholarship, leadership, character, and service. Officers are Jon Goldweitz, PRESIDENT; Bill Low, VICE-PRESIDENT; Kathy Krall, SECRETARY; and Phyllis Havens, TREASURER. The members of the society are given the priv¬ ilege of Honor Study, an institution which allows the students the use of an unproctored study hall. This year saw the innovation of early dismissal for mem¬ bers with last period studies. As in previous years the society assumed the re¬ sponsibility of supporting a Greek foster child, Des¬ pina Kourti. In addition to the traditional brownie sales to raise money for this project, a very successful license-plate change day was held on December 31. 95
