STUDENT COUNCIL This year ' s Student Council has certainly been one of the best ever. Members have worked hard supporting traditional school activities and initiating new ones. T he Kick- Off Dance, the Homecoming Dance, the Student Activity Package, and the Season Ticket Drive were all successful. We were especially proud of the support of the Morgan Memorial Drive. New this year was the WBZ Seven-Hundred Fund Drive which gained state-wide recognition for the Coun¬ cil. This year the Student Council faces one of the greatest and most difficult tasks in its history. In May, the Council will host the annual convention of the Massachusetts Association of Student Councils. Plans also have been made for the Gym Show and the Variety Show and Beauty Pageant. Much credit for the success of this year ' s Student Council goes to President Alan Ger- lach, to Miss Lorden for her dedicated guid¬ ance, and to the enitre administration for their liberal co-operation throughout the year.
