CLASS OF 1962 JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY We juniors entered Weatherwax last fall, well aware of the fact that we were the in between class. As sophomores, we had been something new and different, bringing with us the customs and ways of junior high school. Our sophomore year was a period of adjustment — following the examples set by the upperclassmen. Next year we will be on top, endeavoring to set an example for the incoming sophomores and giving a helping hand to the juniors. To pilot us through the 1960-61 school year, we elected as our class officers: President, Chris Tobey; Vice President, Roger Faulkner; Secretary-Treasurer, Donna Enkerud. Their success as officers was largely due to the unanimous cooperation of the class senators and members of the class. Working successfully with the seniors, we presented, early in the spring, the annual Junior-Senior Ball, which was enjoyed by all. We presented a general assembly in February, in which we displayed our many and varied talents. This helped to make up for a deficit resulting from Student Body card sales. We look forward to our senior year with much enthusiasm, hoping to exceed the accomplishments and pleasures that we have experienced this year. —42—
