Donna Todd The Intermlediate Girls Chorus is made up of thirty girls who a1'e interested in learning the basic funda- mentals of music, such as theory, rhythm, sight reading, and notations. The Intermediate Girls participate in all activities of the Choral lVIusic Department. Some of the activities they have participated in this year are the Interscholastic League Clinic VVorkshop, the All-City Christmas I ig,e 75 Program, the choral music assemblies, the Interscholastic League Regional Festival. The main purpose of the chorus is to help the individual girls With their basic musical difficulties. They try to develop their musical ability through varied types of work in the classroom. Among the classroom activities are listening clinics which have increased their ability to appreciate good music of all types.

Frank Tindell The -Iunior lioys Chorus is made up of thirty-four boys who are having their first experience in the Choral Department of VVaco High School. At the end of the school year, the members of the chorus will be promoted to vacancies in the Intermediate and Senior Choruses created by the graduating Seniors. lklembership in this chorus serves to better the individual's knowledge of basic fundamentals of music, such as theory, rhythm, sight singing, and notation. Considerable time is given to individual vocal develop- ment and ensemble singing. Another goal of the group is to p1'omote good fellowship and school spirit among its members. This chorus performed for the rlihanksgiving and Christmas assemblies at XVaco High and sang on the All- City Christmas Program given annually in NVaco Hall. Another project was aiding in the ticket sales and teclmical production of the musicals JOHNNY STRANGICR and KITTIXVAKE ISLAND presented by the Senior Chorus. As a climax to this year's activities, this chorus participated in the Interseholastic League Regional lklusic lfestival held at Baylor University. l'ai.:e
