CBC There exists at VMI an organization dedicated to tine artistic beautification of one of tine institutes most visible monuments: the cannon ball. This small band of artisans spent many a cold, wet. late night in the pursuit of their own special discipline, and even went so far as to get boned for un- authorized improvement of institute property; i.e. painting the cannon ball. Thanks for your dedication, cre- ativity, and artistry, guys! Remember the New Market Day 5-45 minutes-0! The VMI Concrete Canoe Team is living proof that concrete floats, for the unit designs, builds, and races its own concrete canoe. The team is spon- cered by the VMI Student Chapter of the ASCE, and competes with other student chapters throughout the na- tion. The team is comprised of civil en- gineering majors who have an interest in applying their engineering knowl- edge outside the classroom. Members for the ' 80- ' 81 team are D.
