CHEERLEADERS On September 14, 1945, a group of girls and boys assembled in the auditorium after school. They were asked to lead a few yells and then the meeting was dis- missed. The following Monday a notice was placed on the bulletin board listing the chosen few. The Varsity cheerleaders were Dolores Seavolt, Mary Seavolt, Ann Hankinson, Julia Earlewine, and Anne Nardi. The Reserve cheerleaders were Ruth Troyer, Kathleen Evans, and Gwen Lake. The alternates were john Ball, Dick Beebe, and Norma Walker. The cheerleaders have worked hard this year and the successful pep meetings, snake dances, and yells at all our athletic con- tests show the results of their excellent ability and coordination, A cheering section was organized for the basketball games and with the coopera- RESERVE CHEERLEADERS First Row fleft to rigbzfl-Ruth Troyer, Kathleen Evans, Gwen Lake.
