Criminal Law Association The Police Action Project gave law students the opportunity to ride with “Austin’s finest” on their routine eight-hour shifts. The CRIMINAL LAW ASSOCIATION sponsored the program which began with a tour of City Jail and an orientation to the operations and policies of the APD. John Rain. Chancellors Eight students who have completed 42 hours are honored each year as CHANCELLORS. They have the highest scholastic averages in Law School. Founded in 1912, the group did not admit women until the rryd-l960's. Now membership is open to law stu- dents who, through consistent scholarship and achievement, have shown themselves likely to succeed and be a credit to their profession. Delta Theta Phi DELTA THETA PHI members got a chance to play roulette twice in fall, 1977. First in the preregistration lottery and second at their Casino party. While emphasis of the Sam Houston Senate of DELTA THETA PHI is on social activities, members have been named to Chancellors, Honor Council and elected SBA representatives.
