Criminal Law Association The Police Action Project gave law students the opportunity to ride with “Austin’s finest” on their routine eight-hour shifts. The CRIMINAL LAW ASSOCIATION sponsored the program which began with a tour of City Jail and an orientation to the operations and policies of the APD. Founded in 1912, the group did not admit women until the rryd-l960's. Now membership is open to law stu- dents who, through consistent scholarship and achievement, have shown themselves likely to succeed and be a credit to their profession. Delta Theta Phi DELTA THETA PHI members got a chance to play roulette twice in fall, 1977. First in the preregistration lottery and second at their Casino party.
