At orientation, TQs greet their groups of approximately 25 students and serve as instructors in the Legal Research and Writing classes. In addition to teaching students how to write memorandums, TQs are adept at molding their proteges into great oral advocates during the spring brief writing and oral advocacy program. TQs serve as counselors and confidants, often organizing social activities and inter-TQ sports. They are chosen through an internship program each spring by the previous year's TQs.
