UTSCA: Encompassing Many Different Interests bout, then they win a point for the team. If they are tied at the end of time, they move all scores to 4-4 and a sud- den-death situation occurs where the first person to score a touch wins. Men on the UT Water Polo team faced a physical endurance test in every game. Water polo could be called a survival of the fittest because players cannot touch the bottom or sides of the pool and must keep swimming throughout the game. Players only stop swim- ming after goals and for time outs. The women ' s gymnastics team was forced to become a club after it was dropped as an intercollegiate sport last year. The ' Horns were allowed to compete as an intercollegiate team, but they were ineligible for the funding they received last year. The ' Horns finished third in a meet at Southwest Texas State University. In L T-LSU game, the goalkeeper attempts to return the ball to upfield teammates. UTSCA 171
