STUDENT-FACULTY COUNCIL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION The Student-Faculty Council of the College of Education provides an opportunity for students and faculty members to work together outside of a classroom situation. The Council strives to be a link of communication between the students in the college and the faculty by publishing newsletters, advising the Dean on recommendations of Mortar Board and Friars, and acting as a sounding board for student sug- gestions and problems. The council is composed of a representative of the Office of the Dean of the College of Education, five faculty repre- sentatives elected by the faculty of the College, twelve elected students, the presidents of the education organizations, the past year ' s president, and the student assemblymen. Any committees may be chosen from people outside the council. All Council meetings are open to students and faculty members, and are held every three weeks in Sutton Hall meeting room. This year the Council worked on an evalua- tion of the education classes, the CLASP and senior gift program, and the plans for graduation.
