At the present there are one hundred and five active chapters located in forty-one states in the United States and in six provinces in Canada. The total membership is 46,037 and the chapter houses are valued at $4,000,000. It v as the first fraternity to enter many of the western and some of the Canadian colleges and universities. The fraternity official magazine, The Scroll, is the second oldest fraternity magazine in existence. It was the first fraternity to establish full time chapter tutors and to initiate a modern plan of student exchanges with European universities. Texas Beta was established in 1883 at The University of Texas, being the first fraternity on the campus. OFFICERS President .
