Be- fore the end of his first year he had already made such a name for himself as a student that he was offered a position in one of Columbia's outstanding law firms, and has been connected with them ever since. You can inscribe your prophecy as to the next heavyweight champion, an opinion on the immortal Shakespeare- Bacon argument, a brief description of the resources of Peru, that story about it being two others fellows after all, or a trunchant little spasm on Quo Vadis-or W'hither and Why? If you are artistic you can spoil paper with caricatures. Maybe you can cut it up into silly shapes and sell them for silhouettes. Some people can make little caps from paper, while others can bor- row money on it. But after careful reflection you will see that nearly everything done on paper requires a subject and nearly all that is accomplished with it has an object.
