INDIAN ACTIVITES REPRESENTED BY THE SECOND GRADE. Eg.,The homes, dress, food, occupations, and pastimes of the Indians are being studied by the second grade children in the above picture, In the sand table at the right they have constructed an Indian village. At the left a little girl is weaving a rug, The children in the foreground are painting designs on their suits and head dresses, grinding corn, and decorating the Wigwam. THIRD GRADE PRESENTING THE ELVES AND THE SI-IOEMAKERQ' IN PUPPET SHOW' In connection with the observance of Good Book VVeek the Third Grade read the story of The Elves and the Shoemaker from Grimm's Fairy Tales. During their language period, they put the story into dramatic form for the purpose of presenting it in a puppet show, which was later given before general assembly.
