For four consecutive seasons, the Wolverines iad advanced to the semifinals but each time were denied in a dsappointing fashion, culminating in a gut-wrenching three- ' vertime loss to the University of Maine in 1995. However, in 996, the Wolverines would not be denied ultimate victory.
