Jim Lemmon Crew Coach Crew With hope of following the great Cal crews of 1928, 1932 and 1948, the Cal crew prepared for the 64 with the Olympic Championship in mind. For the Olympic year all races were cut back from three miles to 2,000 meters including the IRA championship. The California crew boasts five veterans from the boat that took a fourth in the IRA last year.
