PAUL A. DeLORENZO On January 10, 1965, one of our classmates, Paul DeLorenzo, was struck and killed in an automobile accident while returning from a basketball victory over Stony Brook State, a game in which he had played a major role. Paul was a good scholar and an active and eager participant in all facets of Academy life. His quiet, deeply-rested self-confidence made him highly re- garded by all those who knew him. In addition, Paul was a fine athlete whose poise was often noted by his teammates. His coolness and determination under pressure will be remembered and admired for a long time. His easy-going, friendly manner made ever ' one, even new acquaintances, feel perfectly at ease. He always had a good word for everyone, at any time, no matter what the situation. We, as his classmates and friends, feel it was an honor and a privilege to have known Paul; his passing was a loss to us, and to the Academy. He was as fine a Midshipman as ever we have known. Although his stay was short, his memory will long remain in our hearts.
