After a general assembly, programs were made out and every one passed to ten minute classes. Some of the 'tFrosh were familiar with the rooms of the building and some were new comers but old and new alike, had the pleasure of getting into the wrong class rooms and being laughed at by the upper classmen. The other classmen, especially the Seniors, snickered and giggled when some blushing Freshman boy, with dripping trousers, sought some deserted corner. After a second general assembly the first day of school was over and the Freshmen dragged their weary limbs homeward. A few days later, a class meeting was called and officers were elected. The Freshmen, unfamiliar with parliamentary etiquette, all talked at once, and in fact, were so noisy that Miss Coon and Mr. Bohm, class advisors, were obliged to reprimand them. Evelyn Nick was elected president, Francis McCarthy, vice-presidentg Carl Nielson, secretary, and Lorna Lambert, treasurer. 141..
