iii.- .941 5 Junior Class Play Our Junior Class play, Almost Summer, a Jones Family Play, presented April 23 and 24, 1942, proved to be one of the outstanding performances of the year. This three-act comedy, written by Christopher Sergel, was directed by Miss Florence E. Snyder. The entire action'of the play takes place in the living room of the Jones home. Paul, a high school boy, struggles to pass the final exam so that he may go to the beach with his sweetheart and parents. Jack and his boyfriend try stealing the answers to the exam using Paul's initialed flashlight, which they accidently leave lying on the desk.
