SIFE Takes Second Place In Regionals More than 300 students are involved in Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), a program that is one year old on our campus. SFCC members of SIFE competed against 19 other colleges and universities in a two-state regional free enterprise program contest in St. Louis and placed second, winning $1,500 in prize money. The group also won the right to enter in the national SIFE contest in Houston, Texas, in July. SIFE activities this past year included the following: — Production of a 13 minute film, THE LITTLE RED HEN, with the help of the Drama Department and the Media Center. — Production of a children ' s coloring book, also titled THE LITTLE RED HEN. — Sponsoring of essay, art, and song writing contests for area school pupils and SFCC students. — Operation of the Game Room in the Student Union.
