Community citizenship offered many chances to serve, by giving a box of food to a worthy family at Christmas, caroling to shut-ins, and by givinglthe an- ual scholarship to a senior girl in the spring. Activities within the club included the Ceremonial, Pa, Ma, and Me Potluck, a Christmas party, Festival of Nations, cake and tart sales, the gardenia booth at the carnivalg and partici- pation in Midwinter Conference held in Corvallis. The meetings have not only beeniinteresting from the musi- cal, dramatical, and other entertaining phases, but have been most instructive from the ideas of the varied and experienced group of speakers. The beautiful service for the student body at Easter was a new project planned and conducted by the Tri-Y. It was one of the most successful ways to follow the motto, That We Fail Not Man Nor Thee. The Ceremonial is the service held for the recognition of new members. Speakers and candle lighters in the Y-Teen BARNUM TOOL COMPANY Ceremonial. Tools and Welding Supplies 83
