The remaining pupils were pleased to see that the halls and rooms were freshly painted in attractive col- ors. In addition to those changes there were five new teachers. The school year has passed pleasantly and quickly with about the same number of programs, entertainments, absences due to weather and sickness as in other years. pThe P. T. A. has treated us very generously: curtains for the stage and the Home Economics room, and a banquet for the basketball team and cheerleaders. Perhaps the main event of the year was the winning of the Portage County District Grade Championship by our basketball team. The boys practiced long and diligently, played hard, listened to their coach and Won. Paris School is proud of them. Page Fifty
