The primary function of the 1986-87 Student Council was to organize many activities and help keep school spirit high. Over the year, Student Council co- ordinated and organzed functions such as Homecoming, 8th Grade Day, and many of the dances. As a result of this, school spirit was increased. Overall the Student Coun- cil of 1986-87 did a good job at fulfill- ing its obligations to St. Mary's. By Mark Wetzel 1. David Silva takes a break from his class treasurer. 3. Student Senators are selected each year, based on their demonstrated willingness to uphold the standards and values that have become an inte- gral part of the success of St. Mary's High School in preparing its students to lead productive, responsible lives as adults. 2.
