Annual Service The students Working on the annual are divided into two different groups. One of these groups meets every Tuesday and Thursday with Miss Gaunt, in room 414. The students working in this group take care of faculty, and senior pictures, also the senior five columns. The other group meets with Mr. Hunter, in room 514, every Tuesday and Thursday. Here activities, includ- ing sports, the de.dication and other opening page, and the snapshot page are taken care of. Rufus King Aggies The Rufus King Aggies, formerly called the Future Farmers of America, directed hy Mr. Klose, a Milwaukee County District Agricultural Agent, is a new activity at King. Among the many types of farming that were stud- ied, there were dairy farming, poultry farming, and beef farming. Later on the Aggies will he taken on trips to dairies, commercial greenhouses, and canning factories.

U, V A ,., ,nw ?'l'?v, wwf' 3, I fl King's Queens The Ki11g's Queens meet every Wednesday during the eighth hour in the teachers' dining room ,under the di- rection of Miss Grossman and Miss Schwanherg. Any girl in our school may belong to this organization. They have many activities both in and out of school. Splash parties, hikes, picnics, dances, a mother-daughter party, and service projects are some of the activi- ties done. in Kingis Queens. The Hi-Y Boys join the Kingls Queens in some of their splash parties and dances. They also have guest speakers who talk on such subjects as: charm, poise and personality. Explorers' Club The Explorers, Cluh, under the leader- ship of Miss Eis, was organized to help the people of our school to see the places of interest in our city. They make trips to such places as the State School for the Blind, Chicago, Boston Store Candy Kitchen, Public Museum Workrooms, the U. S. Post Office and many other places. It enables them to see places that they may not ordinarily see.

I 'ss :uf s.9 s..id,, 1, , gA 1 ' Qt Clothing Design A new activity, beginning this year, is Clothing Design which met every day, 8th hour, under the direction of Miss Risjord. The regular classes are large, so it was only for those girls who needed help on their special problems. The first semester was devoted to art and sewing for the girl and the second semester was devoted to art and sewing for the home. Costume Service Every Tuesday at 2:30 in 205 a group of girls met under the supervision of Miss Esther Heise, to repair the cos- tumes used in the plays that are pre- sented. These girls also straighten out the costume room, and do different kinds of Red Cross work.
