Their reper- toire consisted ot Christmas carols, tolksongs, popular ballads, and light classics. That's our band! exclaimed stu- dents proudly, as the martial tones of the band, led by Mr. Floyd Uchima and Drum Major Solomon Loo, cheered us onward at football games and set the beat tor our R.O.T.C. lts clear melodious tunes added to the enjoyment ot the Music Festival. Vincent Youmen's Fantasy and Walter's Three Jacks , featuring three trumpet solo- ists, highlighted the combined Orchestra and Band Spring Concert held in the school audi- torium. The pause for breath before drill time calls for absolute silence.
