THE SILVER WHISTLE” Aspirin actors and actresses or just those interested in speech work meet monthly in Dramatic Club. During these meetings, Dramatic Club provides its student thespian members with culturally inspired entertainment and challenging speech work. The highlight of the year’s pro¬ gram is the Dramatic Club play. Traditionally the first play of the year, this year’s presentation was entitled “The Silver Whistle”. It is the story of a decrepit home for the aged that Mr. Erwinter visits and transforms into a lively bazaar. The story is spiced by a romance and the discovery of a “youth drug.” Jan O’Melia and Pam Bartels rehearse their lines during: an after-school session of practice. Barb Zeffren, Ina Karish, Doug Benoit, Jan O’Melia, Mike McAdams, Steve Geifman, Lois Johnson, and Pam Bartels listen while Bill Tyler expounds on old age during this scene of the “Silver Whistle.” 160 DRAMATIC CLUB
