FUTURE NURSES CLUB High school is a time of planning, selec- ting a vocation, and choosing a school for further training. Two years ago Mrs. Velma Eads founded the Future Nurses Club at Paschal to foster interest in nursing as a profession. Girls have a rare opportunity to become fully acquainted with all aspects of nursing before entering that field. They learn of the scholarship program and the degree available and often obtain first-hand information from a local college. Feeling that success in the field of medicine is irn- possible without a keen sense of charity, many Paschal future nurses gave their time unselfishly during the March of Dimes campaign against polio. This is a young club which is steadily growing as more girls are attracted to the field of nursing.
