Couch jerry Runyon's Sophomore Truck Team Shows Promise for Future Because of the wide range of events each of which require individual train- ing, track is a sport which emphasizes athletic versatility and physical endur- ance. Although the team this year was small in number, it showed up some exciting moments. Senior high-jumper, Marvin Lane shattered his old record jump of 6, 2 with a euphoric jump of 6'6,' to Win the conference crown in that event.
