istlizalbs Umuesbiqjoiae K3f1Jllf:-sfsltifsmiliiwm Elia pins FRENCH CLUB Activities ranging from attending a Red Wing game to organizing a Halloween costume party were all included in French Club's schedule. Le Cercle de Francais , continued several projects that have become popular favorites over the years. These in- cluded a picnic in the spring with Spanish Club and the annual Christmas dinner complete with French food like crepes and rich desserts. Our play at the Christmas party was Cendrillion or Cinderella and it's a good thing everybody already knew the story because I don't think they could have understood it from our version, said Bridget Horn, junior, lt was real- ly funny and we had a great time doing it. SPANISH CLUB An ice skating party in early February was the newest addition to the list of activities in which the Spanish Club participated. For the first ti'me the party was open to the whole school, and was well attended. Before, the ice skating party was held just for members but this year we decided to include everyone for a change, said Janice Beatty, junior. One of the highlights of this year was a lavish Christmas dinner. Food from several different Spanish speaking countries all over the world was served. Entertainment was provided by Steve and Paul Duncan who played the guitar before about 30 guests. 38 SPANISH AND FRENCH CLUB
