The Farm Management Seminar ia the technical organization of the junior, senior and graduate students majoring in Farm Management. Its purpose is the association of these men with the faculty in the study of the science of Farm Management and the promotion of efficiency in its practice. Through examination of the field of this science and its investigational methods; through the solution of technical and applied problems in management; the presentation, discussion and theses on the subject; and through meeting with successful farm managers and learning their methods of organization and administration— the seminar helps to prepare its members for success in both practical and professional work. President V ice-Presiden t Secretary-Treasurer Reporter The Farm Crops Club was organized in the Fall of 1916, and since that time has held its place as one of the foremost organizations of its nature on the campus. The purpose of the Club is extremely practical. Through its existence the members are kept in touch with recent developments in their line of work. In this manner a broader conception of the importance of their special line of study is gained, thus giving an educational aspect as a result of membership. From time to time various specialists are invited to address the club on some topic of especial interest. This creates an aspect that could not be created in the class-room and which has a practical value not acquired through class work. Then in the assimilation of ideas the organization stands as a factor lending a broader impression through gaining the views of others. From its foundation the Farm Crops Club has been a success and has created among the ‘Farm Croppers an increased interest in their work.
