KNEELING: Ji Mo 1?,lJr,y Bob McNees, Talmadge Young, Captain Buddy Jenkins, and Jghn ck. jj iff j V pi Oak Ridge High's first cross-country team in made quite a name for themselves this year in East by piling up a perfect record, 4-O. The thinclads, c coaches James Methvin and Ron Taylor, were victo Fulton twice and Karns once, and in a three-way meet swamped both of these teams. The first victory came from Fulton, with a perfect score of 15-40. Win number two was also by a perfect score, i5-40, but this time Karns was the victim. In the third meet, Fulton placed two runners, but not enough to overcome the 'Cats, so another win went down in the books, 27V2-32V2. The 'Cats then rounded out a perfect season by beating Fulton and Karns in a three-way meet. Oak Ridge scored 23 points, while second place Fulton took 32, and Karns ended up with 52.
