It includes a variety ot classes which teach boys the individual skills that can be used in the various plants of our Industrial city These classes consist of drafting which is a prepar atory class for architectural and ma Chine drawing, wood shop which de velops manipulative skills in wood working processes machine shop which teaches the fundamentals of hand tool and machine operations auto shop which gives boys interest ed In automobiles their basic funda mentals, mechanism and parts and shop math which helps the boys to get a better understanding of the mathematical sklllsin the Industrial Art course There IS also G General Shop which teaches the boys a com blnntlon of the skills taught in a the rest of the Industrial Arts courses Mr Anthony Rasmovlch explains to Mack McKinnon and Richard Simpson that the wood Arsen Cuz and Chuck Menosky do must be smooth and exactly the right thickness to fit properly into their prolects He IS the term prolect machine vu ses demonstrating to them how to accomplish this on the surfacer machine Mr Gene Rlccelll looks on 35
